WELCOME to SCI!
Safari Club International is the leader in protecting the freedom to hunt and in promoting wildlife conservation worldwide.
The Orange County Chapter of S.C.I., established in 1982, is committed to the above mission and has members from every level of hunting-beginner through global expert. It is the place in Orange County to participate with other like minded hunters in sharing experiences, fellowship and hunting and travel knowledge. We are also very active in political action to further the cause of hunters and sustainable wildlife conservation. Chapter projects include a Mobile Sensory Safari Van, a Safari In A Box program, Sportsman Against Hunger program, Youth Safari Day and numerous building and/or repair projects that support wildlife and habitat renewal. The chapter has also been a long time supporter of the American Wilderness Leadership School [A.W.L.S.] program that sends teachers to a summer camp near Jackson Hole, WY to learn about the true role that hunters play in wildlife conservation, sustainable resources and habitat renewal.
Newcomers are welcome. Join us for camaraderie, shared hunting experiences and the chance to make a difference in our world of hunters.
